The name "I Lauri" was inspired by the main town, there are several stories about the etymology, according to some "Laureana" comes from the Latin Castellum Lauri, referring to an ancient castle built to defend against Saracen raids. According to others, it derives from the feminine surname Laurianus. Thanks to its position and excellent exposure you can enjoy a magnificent view of the neighboring villages up to Agropoli and the sea. Residence "I Lauri" has been recently renovated in order to provide the structure with every comfort. We are located a short distance from the Castle of Rocca Cilento, a splendid and historic fortification dating back to the Norman age with an indisputable charm.
